To My Amazing, Wonderful, Beautiful Grandchildren

I am so blessed to be your grandma.

I want you to know that I love each of you with all my heart.  I created this blog as a gift for you.  I hope you will love your family and love being part of a family as much as I do.  I want you to understand these truths:

• We lived with our Heavenly Parents for a very long time before we came to Earth.
• We brought our gender with us from that premortal life.  If we were female spirits there, we are female here on Earth and likewise for boys.
• We live in families so that we can learn important principles such as forgiveness, love, kindness, responsibility, etc.
• Marriage is ordained of God.  God intends marriage to be between a man and a woman.  They create bodies for spirits children to come to Earth.
• We were so happy for the opportunity to get a mortal body and to live in a family.
• Marriage in the Temple provides us with the opportunity to live forever with God and with our families.

I want nothing more than for you to have a happy life.  It is so important for you to learn to listen for the guidance of the Holy Ghost in your life.  Choose to do things.  Keep your promises.  Be a good loser.  Give people in your family compliments, especially your mom!  Keep secrets.  Always pray, even if you are too tired.  Ask God if the Book of Mormon is true and then read from it everyday.  

And always remember to call your grandmother.
